A valve is a device that regulates the flow of fluid (gases, fluidized solids, slurries, or liquids) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways.Oil and gas, power generation, mining, water reticulation, sewerage and chemical manufacturing would constitute the majority of valves used by industry.
A pipe is a tube or hollow cylinder used to convey materials or as a structural component. The terms pipe and tube are almost interchangeable. A pipe is generally specified by the internal diameter (ID) whereas a tube is usually defined by the outside diameter (OD) but may be specified by any combination of dimensions (OD, ID, wall thickness).
A tube is often made to custom sizes and may often have more specific sizes and tolerances than pipe. Also, the term tubing can be applied to non-cylindrical shapes (i.e. square tubing). The term tube is more widely used in the United States, whereas pipe is more common elsewhere in the world.
Pipe fitting is the occupation of installing or repairing piping or tubing systems that convey liquid, gas, and occasionally solid materials. This work involves selecting and preparing pipe or tubing, joining it together by various means, and the location and repair of leaks.
A flange is an external or internal rib, or rim (lip), for strength, as the flange of an iron beam or I-beam (or a T-beam); or for a guide, as the flange of a train wheel; or for attachment to another object, as the flange on the end of a pipe, steam cylinder, etc, or on the lens mount of a camera. Thus a flanged rail is a rail with a flange on one side to keep wheels, etc., from running off. The term "flange" is also used for a kind of tool used to form flanges.

| | Valves are devices of great industrial and domestic application. The valves play the function of regulating the flow of fluids by constricting and controlling a variety of passages. The valves from the house of the Indian Tube Company are technically very sound and come for use as pipefittings. Our valves are in use at various fronts such as the Oil and gas sector, power generation, mining, water reticulation, sewerage etc. |

| | The flanges and pipefittings from the Indian tube company come with assured quality. Our fittings come for the generally utility of installing and repairing piping or tubing systems that come to used for the purpose of carrying fluids and gases. Our work is extensive, and is inclusive of operations regarding the selection and preparation of pipes and tubing’s for the purpose of welding leaks in systems and offering durability. |
| | Indian Tube Company is providing high quality E.R.W. Pipe, BS 1387: 1967 Galvanized pipes at size. 1/4" NB to 6" NB in light, a layer of zinc that covers medium and heavy-duty specification ISS 1239 Galvanized steel pipes. We are also offering galvanized steel pipes and tubes that come for utility in all sorts of infrastructural applications. The galvanized steel pipes and tubes are available in many variants across sizes and lengths. |

| | The ERW pipe stands for Electric Resistance Welded pipe. The electric resistance welded pipes find application in a great variety of engineering purposes, such as fencing, scaffolding, and line pipes and so on. The carbon steel seamless pipes, seamless ERW pipes, line-up goes in a lot of variants and qualities with differing and growing wall thicknesses and diameters. When fabricating ERW units, we make it a point to make use of only the highest-grade steel alloys and continuous-cast that has comes fully killed. |

| | ITC is the manufacturer and supplier of a great assortment of forged steel flanges for the industry. Our flanges come in a great variety of sizes. We provide for Flanges in various models such as the slip on, weld neck, blind, lap joint, spectacle, socket-weld, and threaded ring joint. Our flanges are made from quality tested alloy inputs, that go for a thorough check at our lab. We also make use of advanced state-of-the-art machinery to ensure consistency in our output form. |
| | We have with us, a wide assortment of hollow section pipes that come in a great variety of sizes and thickness designed to suit the various needs of the industry. We are the suppliers of hollow structural pipes. We have also introduced branded hollow section structural pipes that have become India’s largest selling hollow section structural pipe units. Additionally, we have learnt to make use of our latest software towards the quality check on our pipes. |
| | We are manufacturing and supplying a great variety of measurement instrument for the industry. Our measurement systems are of high quality, and come to utility at various points of domestic and industrial construction. We make use of the latest when it comes to quality control measures, promising accuracy and precision on our measurement instrumentation. Our measurements come at industry leading prices. |
| | We manufacture & supply check valves, which work with precision under any kind of pressure. This device is equipped with operating pressure which ensures that the liquid flows just in one direction and does not flow in the opposite direction. |
| | A sieve, or sifter, separates wanted elements from unwanted material using a woven screen such as a mesh or net. However, in cooking, especially with flour, a sifter is used to aerate the substance, among other things. A strainer is a type of sieve typically used to separate a solid from a liquid. The word "sift" derives from sieve. |
| | A steam trap is a device used to discharge condensate and non condensable gases with a negligible consumption or loss of live steam. Most steam traps are nothing more than automatic valves. They open, close or modulate automatically. Others, like venturi traps, are based on turbulent 2-phase flows to obstruct the steam flow. The three important functions of steam traps are: - Discharge condensate as soon as it is formed.
- Have a negligible steam consumption.
- Have the capability of discharging air and other non-condensable gases.

| | A Steam separator, sometimes referred to as a moisture separator, is a device for separating water droplets from steam. The simplest type of steam separator is the steam dome on a steam locomotive. Stationary boilers and nuclear reactors may have more complex devices which impart a "spin" to the steam so that water droplets are thrown outwards by centrifugal force and collected. |
| | Before the modern fire hydrant, a primitive fire suppression system was to bury a wooden water pipe (often no more than a hollowed out log) along the streets. In the event of a fire, teams would dig down to the buried wooden water main and auger a hole in the pipe, and out would come the water to fill buckets. Then a bucket brigade would be started to extinguish the fire. When the teams were finished, they would need to hammer a wooden plug into the log to stop the flow of water. Hence the origin of the term “fire plug.” |
